Este cunoscut faptul că municipalitatea piteșteană încurajează performanța și, dacă legislația în vigoare permite, aceasta poate acorda premii cu ocazia înregistrării unor rezultate deosebite obținute de către elevii piteșteni. Primarul Piteștiului, Cristian Gentea, a oferit, în cadrul ședinței de Consiliu Local, un premiu special, pentru recunoașterea unei performanțe de excepție și pentru stimularea unui număr cât mai mare de copii și tineri în atingerea unor rezultate meritorii.
